Part of the oldest service club organization in the world, the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch follows the international motto of "Service Above Self" by providing time and resources to support local and international charities. Today, we have over 150 members and are growing rapidly. We are couples, singles, retired and semi-retired Lakewood Ranch residents who enjoy being with people. We are always planning events and activities which include: guest speakers at our meetings; shows at the Golden Apple, Asolo, Van Wezel and other area theaters; sunset picnics at Siesta Key; adventure trips to the Everglades; adventure outings to our State Parks; Sarasota Bay Cruises; Holiday Parties and many more exciting activities throughout the year. We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Town Hall at 1:00 PM. They are great social get-togethers and activity planning sessions as well as enjoyable potluck luncheons.
